Thanks for your input! We looked into this and I agree it would be a great way to improve design layout. To be able to completely separate styling for headline vs rest of the Digest would require significant changes in the way we currently build our layouts. I will add it to our backlog and will let you know if we’re able to prioritize it anytime soon.
This feature is not available yet, but this is still on our roadmap.

Twitter won’t count the url in the limits anymore (this is recent…since 2016 I think). So despite a negative count, the post will go out. I tested it to confirm – see screenshots attached. Although we cannot get a bitly link in Digesto today, I think there is room to improve the user experience. We will consider these improvements in future release.
Definitely a nice addition – we’re evaluating various solutions and related efforts. Although not optimal because it duplicates the content across multiple lead objects; alternative method can be used where lead level field can store the value of 2 separate Digests/programs/tokens, and email uses the new lead.content tokens to populate the email- contact me if you need more details on this approach. Also please don’t hesitate to describe your use case and detailed needs in this forum.
Hi Brent, thanks for your input.
We chose not to allow publishing in real time to avoid having multiple emails going out in a short – and out of control – interval. Ex: if your bloggers where to decide to publish 3 article in one day – it would send out 3 emails in that same day.
As an alternative solution we have developed a function in the scheduler that allows you to check for new content up to 12 times per day – which should be close enough to a real time trigger, but you will control the paste.
To do this, select the Daily schedule and use the “+” button to add more times to your schedule.
Regarding the Marketo triggers, we do agree that it would be nice to have that, but it’s not on our roadmap for now due to the complexity of developing it….but maybe someday.
Thanks for your feedback
Hi again Chris, looking at your second idea, "Based on Marketo Triggers" I'd like to suggest a workaround for this where you can use the triggers you mentioned to add the lead to your Digesto program subscribers list. (Smartlist = trigger & Flow = Add to list).
It would not be a pure "triggered" campaign but this way the leads that qualify based on your own criteria will start receiving Digest emails.
Thanks for your feedback Chris! Regarding the 1st item (send when new item is posted to RSS feed) - we chose not to have that function in order to avoid sending multiple emails subsequently if many posts are released in a short delay.
Although there is a way to get very close to send posts real time if you chose the schedule "daily" option and add multiple times per day. you can get Digesto to send any new content up to 12 times in a given day - that should typically be enough to make sure all posts are send out in a very timely manner.
